UK-born Reuben Singh is well known not only for his successful businesses but also for his penchant for swanky cars and an opulent lifestyle.
Born in 1976 in Poynton, Cheshire in England, Reuben Singh belongs to the family that owned a large importing firm, Sabco, which had business connections in Canada. A second-generation immigrant, he came into the limelight in the UK in 1995 when he opened a chain of fashion accessory stores called Miss Attitude at the age of 19.
A British businessman and the CEO of a contact centre company, alldayPA, and a private equity firm, Isher Capital, Reuben Singh rose to prominence in the mid-1990s for his Miss Attitude retail chain. However, within four years after he founded Miss Attitude, he sold the glitzy accessory chain to Klesch Capital Partners, an investment fund based in London.
alldayPA is a Manchester-based, on-demand customer service company that provides businesses with staff to handle calls, emails, live chat messages and social media queries. The key services offered include remote switchboard services, call triaging, on-hold messages, diary management, telephone answering, call forwarding, bespoke CRM integration, email management, and social media management. Isher Capital is a leading Boutique Private Equity Fund and Family Office, dedicated to providing immediate equity solutions to entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses. It specializes in driving business growth, executing rescue operations, and managing turnaround situations requiring substantial capital resources.
Business And Lifestyle
Reuben Singh established the contact centre business, alldayPA, in 2000. Between 2004 and 2011, the company’s financials grew at a steady pace that reflected its rising profits year over year. In the following years, he tied up with global big-ticket businesses. The company’s worth at its peak was estimated at around £85 million.
After studying his GCSEs, secondary education, he studied English, Business Studies, Politics and General Studies A-levels. In 2004, Guru Nanak Dev University conferred upon him an honourary doctorate for his contribution to entrepreneurship.
In 2004, Reuben Singh faced a financial crisis over a debt he had personally guaranteed. The litigation went on for over three years, and in 2007 he declared himself bankrupt. However, his lawsuit ended in 2008 and was subsequently released from bankruptcy. And a few years later he was reappointed as CEO of the company.
Reuben Singh's passion for fast cars, clothes and businesses led him to acquire all three with enthusiasm. He is well known for his unwavering love of automobiles. He owns a range of 15 Rolls-Royce cars, which are part of an exclusive collection. He has three Rolls-Royce Phantoms and three Rolls-Royce Cullinan. These cars are painted in vibrant colours to resemble Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds. The Phantom in India is worth about Rs 8 crore each, and the Cullinan costs up to Rs 7 crore. His collection cars also includes a Lamborghini Huracan, Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Porsche 918 Spyder and Pagani Huayra.
Reuben Singh refers to his collection of cars as the ‘Festival of Lights.' In 2019, he embarked on a unique initiative known as the 'Turban Challenge.' It represents a blend of style and tradition by matching the colour of his turban with his favourite Rolls-Royce cars. He not only celebrates his Sikh heritage but also raises funds for charitable causes.
Reuben Singh has amassed immense wealth over the years through his successful business ventures. Multiple businesses and valuable assets, including luxury cars and properties, has placed him among the elite ranks of global entrepreneurs.
