IABCA Immersion Week 2024 In Australia 

The India-Australia Business and Community Alliance (IABCA) has steadily engaged in cultural diplomacy and bilateral growth through people, organisations and businesses since 2013. In 2023, IABCA celebrated a decade of sustained engagement by establishing its international footprint through its inaugural IABCA India Showcase in tandem with G20, creating an immersive cultural dialogue between allies.

In 2024, IABCA will continue to unlock the potential for bi-lateral trade between India and Australia through a 12-month campaign, and a series of week-long initiatives held in the presence of key government and international leaders. ​IABCA continues to provide a strong platform for strengthening business-to-business ties through honouring people-to-people links. Poshmark's CEO Manish Chandra Speaks About Leveraging Indian Diaspora 

Manish Chandra, CEO of Poshmark, US, last week shared his insights on how to increase the number of Indian-origin founders in the US. With 72 out of 648 US unicorns founded by individuals of Indian origin, Chandra emphasized the importance of leveraging the unique strengths of the Indian Diaspora. During an Indiaspora panel discussion on CNBC-TV18's Young Turks' Voices From The Valley series, Chandra highlighted the evolving contributions of second-generation Indian-Americans. He said they are deeply integrated into American society, and possess innovative perspectives on contemporary issues. He stressed the importance of staying in tune with the changes. "It is really tuning your energy into what's happening," he observed. He acknowledged the impact of generational shifts on the nature of entrepreneurial opportunities. By harnessing the unique perspectives and innovative thinking of the Indian Diaspora, he believes that more Indian-origin founders can achieve success in the US. Abu Dhabi's Waiting Lists For Residences 

Abu Dhabi has witnessed occupancy levels in residential communities hitting record highs of late, with certain properties maintaining waiting lists for prospective tenants. As per Asteco, a real estate consultant, prime and high-end residential developments in the UAE's capital, particularly waterfront areas, such as Al Raha Beach, Saadiyat, Yas and Reem Islands, remained in high demand. Abu Dhabi's population reached 3.8 million last year, surpassing that of Dubai, becoming the most populated emirate. Abu Dhabi's population has  grown exponentially by 83% since 2011, resulting in a greater demand for residences from new tenants.
